Currently I’m working on a project for school with 4 other people. This project is about making an application for teachers to communicate with each other and exchanging files to improve there lessons. We decided to make this application with Flex and Actionscript 3.0.

After 2,5 months working on the research phase, we finally arrived at the building phase. Of course at that time i looked up some tutorials and background info on Flex and Actionscript 3.0 to learn more about it. This way I was preparing myself for when the building phase would start.

One person of my project group gave me this link where the architecture of flash is explained on a whiteboard by Ely Greenfield, Flex architect, David Wadhwani, vice president of Flex Product Line, and Mike Chambers, senior product manager, developer relations. I high-commend this video to people who want to know all about Adobe Flex.

In the application there will be a folder with all the media. The media in that folder can be watched with an intern media-player. In the link below you can watch the progress of the player I’m making.

From now on I will post my progress on the things I’m making in Flex on this blog. And don’t hesitate to comment on our articles!
